What is ‘Live’ online learning?

Live online courses are internet-based real time events. They are organised in a live virtual meeting room where delegates and trainers meet to communicate via voice, video and screen sharing. Live online classes require delegates and trainers to be online simultaneously, at a predefined time, as specified in the email invite sent by the trainer.

Typically the courses will be delivered via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Benefits of Online Learning

Live Online courses offer a lower cost training option, allowing organisations to further their training budgets and to pay for only the training they need.

  • You only pay for what you want to learn
  • Its convenient and flexible
  • Short sessions, your whole day is not taken up
  • You learn immediately, no need to wait for a course or indeed travel to one
  • You can learn from your office or from home or anywhere you fancy

Whilst online sessions can’t totally replace traditional learning methods, it can be a good medium for the delivery of effective training (especially in a geographically dispersed organisation, or when Covid-19 strikes!).
